Tomorrow's Hope Foundation held its first Student Tuition Assistance Relationship Program (STAR) Reception at St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School in Westbury on Friday, February 9th. STAR donors who sponsor a student, STAR students who benefit from the program, parents, St. Brigid, and THF board members, and more gathered together to express gratitude and celebrate the commitment to the future of Catholic education on Long Island. Special guests and THF partner Catholic Health were in attendance who recently made a large, multi-year commitment to Tomorrow’s Hope. Their generous support will provide tuition assistance to seven students in need each year for five years.
The morning began with an opening prayer from Most Reverend Bishop John O. Barres, Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, followed by remarks from THF Executive Director, Ismini Scouras, Dr. Patrick O'Shaughnessy, President & CEO of Catholic Health, Paul Clagnaz, Principal of St. Brigid/OLH Regional School, and Father John Sureau, Pastor at St. Brigid's Church.
Thank you to everyone who supported this special day!
