Help students start the new school year strong

Dear Frienf of Tomorrow's Hope,

As another school year comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the many blessings our students have experienced thanks to faithful supporters like you.

One of those students is Ovia, a sixth grader at St. Patrick School in Bay Shore. Having received tuition assistance from the Tomorrow's Hope Foundation since kindergarten, Ovia has benefited from a Catholic education throughout her elementary school years. When asked how her Catholic education has impacted her life, Ovia shared that St. Patrick School has helped her grow in faith, kindness, confidence, and gratitude every day.

Through school activities like choir and performing in The Little Mermaid, Ovia has had the opportunity to develop lasting friendships and the confidence to try new things. That confidence was on full display when Ovia stood before hundreds of guests at the Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation Gala to personally share her gratitude and speak about the impact her Catholic education has had on her life. With poise and sincerity, she thanked the donors whose generosity has made her education possible, a remarkable testament to the young woman she is becoming.

More importantly, her Catholic education has strengthened her relationship with God. Each day begins with prayer, and throughout the school day, she is reminded to live her faith through compassion, service, and gratitude.

Ovia writes:

"Without Tomorrow’s Hope and people like you, students like me would not have the opportunity to attend a great Catholic school like St. Patrick School. Your support helps students grow every day, and I am very thankful and grateful for that."

Her story is a powerful reminder that a Catholic education is about much more than academics. It is about forming young people who are grounded in faith, inspired to serve others, and prepared to become compassionate leaders in their communities.

As we look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year, there are many more students like Ovia who need financial assistance to access the life-changing benefits of a Catholic education. This coming school year, Tomorrow's Hope Foundation has committed $2.7 million in scholarship assistance, approximately 3% more than was distributed during the 2025-2026 school year. Your support helps ensure that families who desire a faith-filled education for their children can make that dream a reality.
