Donation to support Long Island’s Catholic elementary schools
Uniondale, N.Y.— Gregoris Subaru of Valley Stream recently presented a check for $28,235 to Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation, Uniondale, N.Y., after naming them a local charity partner through their continued participation in the national Subaru “Share the Love” event. This is the third year in a row that Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation was selected as one of Gregoris Subaru’s charitable partners, receiving more than $50,000 since 2018.
“Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation is grateful for the continued support from Gregoris Subaru,” said Ismini Scouras, Executive Director, Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation. “Generous corporate sponsors like Gregoris Subaru enable us to continue to carry out mission to provide Long Island’s Catholic elementary schools with scholarship and program funding.”
Richard DeGregoris shared, “I believe that the future of our country rests in the hands of our youth and their moral and ethical up bringing. Tomorrow's Hope embodies these ideals by promoting and encouraging the Catholic education of our youth.”
During Subaru of America Inc.’s “Share the Love” campaign, car buyers are allowed to select which of the dealer’s designated non-profits would receive a $250 donation for the purchase or lease of a new car. In addition to four national charities selected by Subaru of America, Subaru retailers could also elect to add a local charity as the recipient of the “Share the Love” event. Gregoris Subaru selected Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation as one of its hometown charities.
The check for $28,235 was presented to Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation by Richard DeGregoris, Dealer Principal, Jay Sarasky and Rosario D’Amato, Sales Managers at Gregoris Subaru. Accepting the check on behalf of Tomorrow’s Hope were: Ismini Scouras,
Executive Director, Meaghan Kelly, Director of Operations and Allison Strack, Development Associate.
The mission of Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation is to ensure the excellence as well as the continuance of Catholic Schools on Long Island by increasing awareness and by providing scholarship and program funding for the needs of students and schools.
