As we journey through Advent, hope and joy shine brightly in our Catholic elementary schools.
Through joyful songs, thoughtful prayers, and Christmas cheer, our Catholic school students, staff, and families bring the light and joy of the season to every corner of their school and community.
The Kindergarten students from Holy Angels Regional School in Patchogue are joyfully

preparing their hearts to welcome Jesus this Advent. Each week, they light a candle and discover the special meaning behind it. Through this sacred tradition, they grow in faith, hope, and the true joy of the season.

At Maria Regina School in Seaford, the spirit of Advent shines through friendship and service. Pre-K students partnered with their fifth-grade buddies to create beautiful Advent wreaths together. Through mentorship, teamwork, and joyful preparation, these students are growing in faith as they prepare their hearts for the Nativity.

The 8th graders from Our Lady of Lourdes School in Malverne, celebrating their 100th Anniversary, enjoyed a joyful field trip to New York City. Students and families experienced the magic of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, also honoring the Rockettes’ 100th Anniversary. Their festive day continued with visits to the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, making memories filled with faith, wonder and holiday joy.
Our Lady of the Hamptons Regional School in Southampton gathered as one faith-filled family

to celebrate Advent through prayer, song, and joyful movement. Students, families, and staff came together in a beautiful Family Advent Service that lifted hearts and spirits. Through worship and celebration, the school community is preparing for Christmas with faith, hope, and overflowing joy.

The annual Christmas Boutique at SS. Philip and James School in St. James was filled with
holiday cheer and excitement. Thanks to the wonderful efforts of their Parent Guild, students enjoyed shopping for special gifts for their family and friends. This beloved tradition brought joy, generosity, and the spirit of giving to their school community.

St. Anne’s School in Garden City filled the season with music at their annual Christmas concert. Students joyfully shared the sounds of Christmas through beautiful songs and performances, including inspiring selections from the school’s experienced band members. Through music and celebration, the St. Anne’s School community embraced the true joy of Advent and the preparation for Christmas.
