Student Tuition Assistance Relationship (STAR) Program
Students in need of tuition assistance are matched to a generous donor, "Star", who contributes tuition
assistance of $2,000 per student per year for a set period of time while the parents contribute the remainder of the
tuition. Tuition varies across the Diocese and this program is intended to fund about
half of the student's tuition and that any monies left over from the contribution will
be placed in the General Financial Aid Program. The current average tuition for the
first child is about $3000 to $3300, with a range for individual schools of about $3000
to $3700 across the Diocese. The "Star" receives progress reports and personal
letters from their student.
