David is developing a new company focused on the “Business of CleanTech” (Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Products).
Prior to this, David was the Divisional Vice President, IBM Partnership with INVISION for 11 years. In 2007, Invision merged with mindSHIFT Technologies and became part of the largest IT Managed Services company in the U.S. As part of the senior management team, he had a number of leadership positions and was involved in a variety of internal organizational development initiatives. In addition, he had key responsibilities in new business development and managed selected strategic accounts.
David is involved in many business community activities and associations including serving as the Second Vice Chair on the Board of Directors of The Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA). In addition, he chairs HIA's CleanTech Program Committee. He chairs the Sponsorship Committee for the Advanced Energy Conference for the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center located at Stony Brook University. He also serves the Stony Brook University Center for Emerging Technologies Advisory Board.
David received his BBA Degree and attended Graduate School at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He was the founder and president of his own company, which became New England's largest manufacturer, distributor and retailer of specialty vehicles and accessories. From 1981 to 1987, he was Director of New Business Development for Kellwood, a Fortune 500 company where he was responsible for establishing and directing the New Business Development Group. Before joining the INVISION team in 1997, he was Vice President of Long Island's leading trade show marketing company.
