Brothers and its affiliates engage in research, investment advisory and
brokerage
services, and private equity investments in leveraged buyouts and
medical
technology. Taglich Brothers was ranked number one in the United
States
of America above all firms for research performance for the four
years
ended 12/31/05 by Investars.com. Mr. Taglich is also the Chairman of
the
Board of SCOLR Pharma Inc., a Seattle based specialty pharmaceutical and
drug
delivery company, and has served on a number of public companies boards
as
a Chairman or as a director. Mr. Taglich currently serves on the board of
Cormaria
Retreat House in Sag Harbor, and is active in affairs at Stella Maris
Catholic
School
Michael Taglich was raised in Northport, New York, and is a former parishoner of
St Phillip Neri.
In
1993, he married Claudia Ruggiero (a graduate of St. Lawrence and St Joseph's Academy). Together they are raising four very lovely daughters. All four
daughters attend Stella Maris Reginal catholic School in Sag Harbor.
Michael
and Claudia Taglich were named Benefactors of the Year by the Tomorrows Hope
Foundation in 2006. The family attends St. Andrews RC Church in Sag Harbor.
