Nicholas M. Lacetera has a passion for People's Alliance Federal Credit Union (PAFCU) with a drive to match. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer for the credit union and has been with PAFCU since 1964.

His demonstrated success coupled with an in-depth knowledge of credit union practices fuels his vision to see People's Alliance Federal Credit Union as the highest quality, best-regarded financial organization on Long Island. Mr. Lacetera believes People's Alliance offers something different than most other financial institutions do, its dedicated staff and exceptional quality of service provided to its members.

He sees PAFCU as the primary financial institution for all of its members. Nick also sees the credit union maintaining and increasing its market share in consumer and mortgage loans.

In addition to overseeing the operations of the credit union, he is responsible for the strategic management of the organization. The executive staff at People's Alliance Federal Credit Union report to Mr. Lacetera. He attends monthly board meetings as well as conducts monthly meetings with management staff to keep up to date with the inner workings of the credit union. Nick is very involved with the addition of new Select Employer Groups (SEGs) that join the credit union. He welcomes the opportunity to personally explain the benefits and services of People's Alliance Federal Credit Union membership to their employees.

In addition to his duties at PAFCU, Mr. Lacetera sits on several boards as President, which includes the Pan Am Retiree Club of the North East, and the Villas at Hart Cove and is the Treasurer of the Hauppauge Industrial Association. Nick is also an avid boater.

Founded in 1940 as the Pan American Airways Company Federal Credit Union, PAFCU is a full service financial organization and currently serves over 40,000 employees of more than 400 diverse companies and several select geographical areas throughout the United States. At PAFCU, there are no customers - everyone is a member and owner of the Credit Union, and receives friendly, courteous service from employees who have enjoyed many years with the organization.
