Kevin Lessing is a graduate of St. John the Baptist High School. He received his BS from New York Maritime College. He has a captain’s license for any vessel under 100 tons and third mate license for any vessel of any size.

Kevin spent five years working for Lehman Brothers on the NASDAQ trading desk. He then joined the Lessing family food service business to manage the Maine Maid Inn in Jericho. For the past few years he has been specifically assigned the job Director of Business Development for Lessing's. The job is to help build customer relations, increase sales and find new businesses that fit into the Lessing culture. Kevin has served on the Hospice Board (Bay Shore), Jericho High School Business Advisory Board, and is on several committees for other organizations.

Kevin is married to wife Melissa who is a teacher and they have two children. They are members of Our Lady of The Snow parish in Blue Point.
