Dr. Drew Bogner assumed the presidency of Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY in July 2000. Before coming to Molloy, Dr. Bogner was Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Newman University in Wichita, KS. Prior to holding that position, Dr. Bogner served at Newman as Dean of Community Education, Chairperson of the Institute for Teacher Education, Professor of Education and Professor of Biology. Dr. Bogner holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and History of Education from the University of Kansas. Molloy, the College has rapidly expanded its leadership initiatives in the business and service communities under Dr. Bogner. The College has also seen a renewed and energized spirit of cooperation and communication within the campus community, as each of the College’s core constituencies coalesces around one of Molloy’s founding principles - Leadership Through Service.

Enrollment has grown at unprecedented levels during Dr. Bogner’s tenure, and the College added five acres of land to accommodate new athletic fields. He is also the host of the television show Next Generation on Telecare.

Dr. Bogner has been working to develop new academic initiatives and strengthen Molloy College’s foundation programs of Education, Communications, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Music, Social Work and Business, and foster a commitment among all Molloy students to transform their communities by becoming active citizens who lead through their service to others

Dr. Bogner serves on the Boards of Catholic Charities, Long Island Housing Partnership, Long Island Index, Long Island Works Coalition, Rotacare and is Chair of the Dominican Higher Education Council.
